What people are saying about f22 photography workshops
I thoroughly enjoyed my day out with Neil, he was quick to asses the gaps in my knowledge and figure out what I wanted (and more importantly what I needed!) from the day. I learnt a great deal with the technical aspects of Photography, so I can get much more from my gear and I also received some great advice on how to compose and capture much more aesthetically pleasing images. Clearly a very knowledgeable, passionate and experienced guy in the world of Photography and also a genuinely nice guy, I think anybody would benefit from one of his workshops.
Neil's workshop is outstanding, I would highly recommend it. If you are interested in a personal, interesting, informative day where you will achieve photos like you have never taken before, Neil is the person to contact. I learnt so much during the workshop and Neil's 'there is no such thing as silly question' attitude meant I asked every question and got an answer to all! You will have an amazing time taking photos during the workshop and learn skills you will use forever.
Thanks for an excellent workshop. I enjoyed the theory and have come away with great advice on how to get more from my camera - just what I wanted! Good to put the teaching into practice. I have now ordered a polarising filter.
I attended a photography workshop with Neil earlier this year. The day was informative, well organised and great fun, as well as helping me with my photography. I took some fabulous shots - all of which I'd have missed without Neil's excellent guidance. An excellent workshop.
I attended the Malvern Hills workshop and found it very informative. Even the weather being less than great didn't spoil the day or limit the amount of information we gained from the workshop. I will definitely be attending another workshop in the future.
This course is great - we went to the Malvern Hills and were lucky enough to have Neil's expertise, which was provided in a very friendly, down-to-earth manner. Highly recommended!
I had a great day with Neil on the slopes below Kinder Scout, starting in Rosie's café with examples of his own work and explanations of what works and what does not. We went up on the hill with variable lighting conditions to put the theory into practice. I learnt about composition, exposure and why filters are a must for landscape work (by some happy coincidence Neil just happened to have an adapter that fitted his filters to my camera), I had not used filters before and this was a big learning point that you have to see to understand. Perhaps the most valuable lesson came from seeing how a professional photographer would work a subject - totally different to my previous 'snap, hope and move on' method.
Thank you Neil.
Prior to the workshop with Neil all I produced was average images, Neil helped bring all I had read about in photographic books to understandable language and how to apply the techniques in the field to produce great images, would recommend a workshop especially if your a beginner like myself.
